Watching the Impact of AI on Music Production
What the AI conversation seems to be lacking in the music industry is answers. I’m seeing lots of discussions about the nature of creativity and the human soul. I'm seeing fewer, but still substantial and needed, conversations about the technology involved in AI music generation. But mostly I’m also seeing lots of worry and projection of fear, which is why I think the most recent 52 Cues Podcast kicked up some conversations around the composer neighborhood.

Is One Cue Per Week Really Enough?
I’ve said before that you need 100’s of cues to make a living in the production music industry, but is one cue per week really enough? Today I’m going to unpack and illustrate how productivity and output might not be the linear journey we think it is.
