I started my musical journey in the 4th grade on the saxophone. Throughout school, I played sax in concert, marching and jazz bands. At around 16 years of age, I started on guitar, which I played in the school stage band. After high school I got offered a gig playing the lounge circuit up and down the east coast. After a year of that gig, another friend offered me a job teaching guitar in his guitar studio. Fast forward - moved to Charlotte, NC in the 80's, been teaching guitar and performing - and now composing the last couple years as well.
