The winners are in!

You’ll want to check out these killer Christmas cues before you hear them in broadcast placements!

1st Place: Jeff Hargrove

Jeff Hargrove wins the "Christmas in July" Production Music Derby with his cue, "No Place for Merry Gentlemen!

Jeff is a composer who is new to sync. He has a few cues signed with a library, and has been a Taxi member for about 14 months. His focus is anything orchestral.

Jeff will be featured and interviewed on the 52 Cues Podcast, get a free coaching session with Dave Kropf, and we'll send him some tasty Christmas in July Production Derby SWAG.

Join us in our heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS to Jeff!

Dave and Shannon also want to give kudos to those composers who indicated that this Derby was a stretch for them! To take on a new style (or a tight deadline, or whatever challenged you!), and get a cue submitted is admirable. We hope this was a great experience for everyone.

Again, thank you SO MUCH to all who submitted a cue and/or voted! Keep your eyes out for our next Composer Quest!

Runner Up: Darin Peckham

Darin Peckham gave Jeff a serious run for his money with "Rest Ye Scary Gents."

Darin is a 30-year music pro who has found himself in many roles from Composer/Arranger, Producer/Engineer, to Music Director. He's currently pursuing his love of composition.
